The wait is finally over! Gene’s Too is the newest addition to the store and our biggest, brightest building to date! Measuring at around 3,000 square feet and officially opened in summer 2019, this jolly green giant can be found a short walk away from our original Gene’s Books location. Two stories of overflowing, wall-to-wall bookcases will greet you when you visit- our second floor is accessible to all and the perfect place to snap a few photos of our iconic book stacks. Gene’s Too is now home to history, young adult/children’s fiction, comics, graphic novels, horror, poetry, drama, nature, science, music, and a whole slew of other genres! Enough to have your head spinning yet? Patrons who have been visiting us since our mystery cottage’s 2013 opening will also be delighted to see the long awaited return of our grand piano! We always love to hear our guests play, and depending on when you visit us you might find some special, thematic novels and goodies displayed on this beauty. As our inventory grows, you may find the books in this building shift locations from time to time as we try to find the perfect shelf for them to settle into. If the layout is a bit daunting (don’t worry, we know there’s a lot to take in), our friendly staff members are always available to assist you with whatever questions you may have.
